Warm Winters UA

Every blanket is a promise: you are not alone this winter.

Across Ukraine, families are facing another cold season without heat, coats, or a safe place to rest. With your support, we deliver warm clothing, blankets, and heating supplies straight to the doorsteps of parents, children, and elders who need it most — because hope should never freeze.

Trusted by families, volunteers, and partner shelters across Ukrainian cities.

Stories of Warmth

Real families, real winters, real relief

Behind every winter kit is a name, a home, and a quiet worry about the cold. These are a few of the families whose winters have been made a little warmer because of your support — shared with their permission, and their dignity kept front and center.

Oksana & Sofiia's First Warm Night

After their apartment lost heating for the third week in a row, Oksana wrapped her daughter Sofiia in every blanket she owned. When a Warm Winters UA kit arrived — thermal blankets, a heater, and warm layers — Sofiia slept through her first night without shivering since October. "She asked if winter could always feel like this," Oksana said.

Mykola's Quiet Comfort

Living alone since his wife passed, 78-year-old Mykola rationed firewood to make it last the season. A volunteer delivery of wool blankets and a sunflower-yellow scarf, knit by a local supporter, now keeps him company through the coldest evenings. "Someone remembered me," he told our team.

Danylo's Small Stove, Big Relief

With the power grid unstable, Danylo worried most about his two-year-old son's bedtime chill. A winter kit brought a safe portable heater, hot water bottles, and warm layers — letting bedtime stories replace bedtime worry. "He falls asleep warm now," Danylo shared.
